Aspirants


The Aspirants Division is a new Division for the Company to give Serious Dancers the opportunity to study at an Intensive Level. This Division is only for the students who are aspiring to pursue a ballet career.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Accepted by Audition
  2. Commitment of Focus
    • This program requires total focus on ballet without the distraction of other activities so that ballet can be pursued at a professional level.
  3. Commitment of Attendance
    • Students in this division attend all their regular classes plus they are enhanced by special classes for Aspirants only. These classes add extra study on Technique, Artistry, Variations and Pas de Deux required for professionals.
    • Absences are limited to Excused Absences for illness (note required), School Conflicts for a grade only (documentation required) or Family Emergency.
    • Non-Excused absences must be approved by the Directors in advance and are limited to family, church, or education but not for another activity.
 

Company I-II


Company I is the Upper Division for the Company. Dancers must be 16 years or older to participate in Company I and are in the fourth level of Pointe Work

Company II is the Second Division for the Company. Dancers must be 14 years or older and have three or more previous years of Pointe Work.

Note: All dancers in Professional Preparatory IV and above are given Company Placement as part of their Curriculum and Performance Requirements.

Apprentices


Apprentices are 11-14 years old and are in their second or third year of pointe work. This is the entry level to the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Accepted by Audition
  2. Attendance Commitment to all Mandatory Rehearsals
  3. Commitment to attend classes on a regular basis (Drs. and teacher’s note are not required for absences however, parents are asked to document absences by phone or note.
